The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is releasing the second episode of its Health Talk MS podcast today, August 4. The topic is a timely one: Back to School & Vital Records.
In the podcast’s August edition, we look at what our nationally accredited Office of Vital Records and Data Statistics can do for you. Host Greg Flynn welcomes Director Patricia Oluade and her predecessor Judy Moulder, now retired, who discuss topics including how to replace birth and death certificates, immunization records, and the data and statistics they keep for the entire state.
Upcoming episodes include discussions about mental health awareness, the health risks of vaping, and STI/HIV trends.
New episodes will air the first Monday of each month and will be available on our YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/@HealthyMississippi, and the following platforms: Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio, Deezer, Jiosaavn, and Podcast Index.
The goal of the monthly podcast, produced in partnership with Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB), is to empower everyone with the tools to lead healthier lives.
