Carl M. McDaniel, ,91, of Benton passed away Thursday January 14, 2021 at his residence. Carl was a plantation manager
for Cedar Grove Plantation for many years. He also worked in Benton for Bill Harris as a farm helper. He loved to deer hunt and spend time with family and he loved to take care of his garden and share it with all his friends.
Funeral Services will be Sunday January 18,2021 at 2 P.M.graveside at Seneasha Cemetery near Goodman, MS. He was preceded in death by his son Carl McDaniel, Jr., his parents James (DID) and Georgia Ann Jenkins McDaniel , also a sister Marcia Fox, and brothers J.T. McDaniel, Sr, Diddio McDaniel, Sr., and Louis McDaniel ..
Carl is survived by his wife Maggie Lee Jenkins McDaniel, his daughters Gail(Lamar)Jenkins of Greenwood, Judy Tyer (Daniel) of Bentonia, MS, and Mary Lou Daves of Blackhawk.
Carl is also survived by his sisters Dot White of Phoenix, MS and Lola Marie Hoffman of College Station, Tx, brothers
Bert McDaniel, Sr. of Yazoo City, MS, and Charles McDaniel of Sharon, Ms.
His grandchildren and great Grand children was the light of his live Karla (Adam) Cook, Ben Jenkins, Jessica ( Gage) Cortez, Lee ( Mark) Wiggins, Ken Daves, Amy Daves, Justin Tyer and Payne Tyer his great Grandchildren are Emily Cook. A.J. Cook, Rhett Cortez, Charles Cortez, Atlee Cortez, Austin Wiggin, Eli Wiggin and Mabry Reincker.
