The Mississippi Egg Marketing Board is hosting its annual Easter at the Ag Museum event on Saturday, April 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum.
“We’re proud to continue this annual Easter tradition at the Ag Museum and welcome visitors from all across the state,” said Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson. “The Mississippi Egg Marketing Board does a wonderful job hosting this event each year and with the ‘Bunny Trail’ and hands-on activities to rides and family-friendly entertainment, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. It’s a great opportunity to spend time together and celebrate the season, and I encourage families to come out and be part of the festivities.”
Experience family-fun as children follow the tracks of the museum's "Bunny Trail" to collect candy and toy-filled eggs in their baskets. Families will have the opportunity to dye and paint eggs; take a wagon, train or carousel ride; have their faces painted; and much more. This year, Mississippi’s Miss Hospitality Taylor Garretson and Miss Mississippi Anna Leah Jolly will be in attendance for a special meet and greet. The Mississippi Beef Council will also be serving complimentary hotdogs to visitors, while supplies last. Additional sponsors include Cal-Maine Foods and Polk's Meat Products. Admission is $10 per person for ages 2 and up and includes carousel, train and wagon rides. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
