Stacey Walker, of Yazoo City, announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Rebecca Claire Walker, to William Alexander Moir, son of Bill and Lindy Moir of Alpharetta, Ga.
Miss Walker is the granddaughter of Thomas and Kaye Odom, of Yazoo City.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Clemson University, where she graduated with honors. She is currently attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where she serves as a Graduate Research Assistant pursuing her Doctorate in Energy Science and Engineering.
Mr. Moir earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Clemson University. He is currently employed as a Technical Accounting Supervisor at the UPS World Headquarters.
The couple will exchange vows on Dec. 17, 2022 in Atlanta, Ga.
