Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Kane Richards, of Yazoo City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Lee Richards, to John Landon Lynch, son of Rev. and Mrs. Kenneth Alan Lynch of Yazoo City.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Carolyn Yount, the late Mr. Clifford Yount and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Richards.
She attended Manchester Academy and Delta State University, and she received a nursing degree from Hinds Community College. She works as a Registered Nurse at St. Dominic’s and is owner of an online boutique, The Edit, LLC.
The groom is the grandson of Rev. and Mrs. John McGregor, the late Ms. Jeroline Handfield and the late Mr. Thomas Lynch.
He attended Manchester Academy and received a Bachelor of Business Management and Master of Business Administration from Delta State University. He also served in the United States Navy for six years as a rescue diver. He is employed as a Small Agriculture Salesman at AG UP Equipment Company.
The couple will be married on March 4, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Parkview Church of God in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Rev. Ken Lynch and Rev. Lauren Porter will officiate the ceremony. The reception will be held at Yazoo Country Club following the ceremony.
