Ryan and Sarah Ragland of Bentonia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Kyle Ragland, to Hayes Preston Hansford, son of Todd and Melissa Parrish of Senatobia and the late Preston Hansford.
Miss Ragland is the granddaughter of Kathy Chandler of Flora, Deb Ragland and the late Billy Ragland and the late Veronica Strickland of Jackson. She is the great granddaughter of Gloria Kirk and the late Thomas Kirk.
A graduate of Manchester Academy, she also earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Mississippi State University and graduated from the Mississippi Institute of Esthetics. She is currently employed as an esthetician with the Lash and Brow Gal.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Ronnie and Cherry Smith of Sarah, Cathie Hansford and the late Charles Preston Hansford Sr. of Trussville, Ala., and the late Elizabeth Hansford.
A graduate of Magnolia Heights School, he earned his associates degree in Agricultural Studies from Northeast Community College, where he played baseball. He also attended Mississippi State University. He is currently employed as a farmer with Ragland Farms in Bentonia.
The couple will be married on Sept. 28, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ragland residence with Rev. Pamela Cameron officiating. The reception will be held at the Ragland residence.
