Mr. and Mrs. Byron Buckley will be united in marriage on Oct. 21, 2023 at a 6 p.m. ceremony at the Garden Study Center in New Orleans.
The wedding will be outdoors under the iconic Alferez Live Oak in New Orleans City Park.
Miss Stephanie Elizabeth Freeman, of Rapid City, South Dakota, is the daughter of Stan Freeman of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Lisa Freeman.
Miss Freeman earned her B.S degree from the University of Georgia, M.S. degree from Texas Tech University, Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University and currently serves as a Human Dimension Specialist for South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks.
Mr. Byron Reeves Buckley, of Rapid City, South Dakota, is the son of Joe and Debbie Buckley of Yazoo City.
He earned his B.S. from Mississippi State University, M.S. and Ph.D. from Texas Tech University and currently serves as a Senior Wildlife Biologist for South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks.
The Matron of Honor will be friend, Catlin Payne of Houston TX. The Man of Honor will be friend, Lewis Foster of Atlanta GA.
Bridesmaids include Demi Gary, Tacoma, WA, friend and officiant; Chandler Countryman, Seattle, WA, friend; Erinn Drage, Canmore, Alberta, CA, friend; Tiffany Lane, St. Petersburg, FL, friend; and Sammie Powers, Fairfax, VA, friend.
Best Man will be father of the groom, Joe Buckley of Yazoo City.
Groomsmen include Jason Buckley, Jackson, MS, brother; Neal Buckley, Yazoo City, MS, brother; Jimmy Huddleston, Lubbock, TX, friend; and Drew Arnold, Hattiesburg, MS, friend.
Flower Boy will be Jason Paul Buckley, Jackson, MS, Jason and Janine Buckley, nephew.
Ringbearer will be Joseph Reeves Buckley, Jackson, MS, Jason and Janine Buckley, nephew.
Following the wedding ceremony, a reception will be held at the Garden Study Center, City Park, in New Orleans, LA. The couple will celebrate their honeymoon with a wedding trip to Greece.
The couple will reside in Rapid City, South Dakota.
