The Manchester Academy Mavericks fell to 0-2 after falling to Carroll Academy last Friday.
Offensively, the Mavericks were led by Joseph Beidleman who had 20 carries for 67 yards and one reception for 30 yards. He was also the leading tackler with 12 tackles.
A.J. Ingram chipped in with 10 carries for 45 yards and was 2-for-5 passing for 58 yards. Ingram had two kickoff returns for 32 yards and had an interception return for 15 yards.
This week the Mavericks will host St. Aloysius (1-1). The Flames will arrive in Yazoo City after a tough 46-0 loss on the road at Tri County Academy last week. St. Al won the season opener with Discovery Christian 43-0.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
