The Woolfolk Indians and Lady Indians split a pair of conference games Monday night against Shirley Simmons. The Indians were victorious by a score of 54-19 while the Lady Indians dropped a tough 33-26 decision. Leading the way for the Indians was Travis Jones (pictured above) with a game-high 28 points. Jacorion Taylor added 15, Jaylon Banks had six, Kezyron Young and Jamerio Mills each had two and Chris-Steveon Gates had one. For the Lady Indians, Lakyra Bankhead led the way with 10 points. Tamia Lankston scored seven, Kirsten Newman had six, Mau’kia Johnson had two and Jamya McCoy scored one. Woolfolk travels to rival Yazoo County this Thursday. Gametime is 4 p.m.
