Yazoo County’s baseball team appears to have picked the right time to get hot.

Panthers pitcher Ryan Alan Johnson delivered a complete game shutout in the regular season finale for a 19-0 win over Velma Jackson.
The Panthers took control of the game early with Donavin Green, Franco Whisenton, Ethan Hill, Dean Tyson, Marico Crozier and Nathan Wilson all delivering RBIs in the second inning.
Whisenton was the winning pitcher the previous week in a 12-0 win over Velma Jackson.
