The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) has lifted the ban on recreational boating on Wolf Lake in Yazoo County. The decision comes after the water level receded to a safe level, no longer posing a hazard to boaters and lakefront property owners.
Boaters are still advised to be cautious, especially around piers and private property along the shore.
The normal rules and regulations for safe boating shall continue to be enforced by state and local law enforcement officers who patrol Wolf Lake, including, conservation officers of the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks and the Yazoo County Sheriff Department.
