The Manchester Academy Lady Mavericks utilized the three point shot Monday night to quickly dispatch of Indianola Academy in a lopsided 51-10 defeat.
The Lady Mavs connected on 11-of-34 three point shots en route to the 41-point win.
MA raced out to a 23-2 lead after one quarter of play and increased their lead to 37-4 by the half.
Manchester eased off the gas in the second half outscoring Indianola 8-4 in the third and 6-2 in the fourth to cruise to the win.
Leading the three-point barrage was Angel Carpenter, who went 4-for-7 from deep, Sydney Porter who was 2-for-4 and Lizzy Carpenter who was 2-for-9.
Before facing Indianola, the Lady Mavs went 2-0 in the Benton Winter Games over the holidays, posting a 50-31 win over Mt. Salus and a 37-24 victory over Newton.
Karley Martin and Lizzy Carpenter led the way against Mt. Salus with 18 and 11 points respectively.
Porter added six, Angel Carpenter had five, Presley Trammell and Lexi Greenlee had four apiece and Mary Druery had two.
Martin was the only player to reach double digits against Newton with 11 points, followed by Lizzy Carpenter with eight and Porter and Trammell with six apiece.
