Manchester Academy dropped to 1-7 on the season after falling on the road at St. Aloysius, 28-7.
Neither team scored in the first quarter, and St. Al opened the second quarter with a pair of rushing touchdowns to take a 14-0 lead.
The Mavericks answered back with a 25 yard touchdown pass from Brendan Thrasher to Jake White, and trailed 14-7 after the extra point kick from Ethan White.
That however, would be the last score of the half and the game for the Mavericks en route to the 21-point loss.
Thrasher was solid on the night, connecting on 14-of-25 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown. He also had 6 carries for 21 yards.
Jake White was the leading rusher with 46 yards on 15 carries and he had the one TD reception for 25 yards.
Ethan White had two carries for nine yards and a catch for eight yards.
Other receivers were Jack Miller with four receptions for 59 yards, Grant Nixon with three receptions for 36 yards and Adam Edgar with five receptions for 32 yards.
Ethan White led the MA defense with 15 tackles (nine solo), followed by Jake White with seven tackles (five solo), Sam Bunch with five tackles (three solo), and Max Hays and Bodie Martin with four tackles apiece (three solo apiece).
Nixon, Thrasher, Edgar, Miller, and Thomas Kalahar each had two tackles while Owen Pillow, Joseph Beidleman, and James Standford each had one.
The Mavericks hosted their final game of the season last Friday against Centreville.
