Linda Gayle Manning, beloved mother, Mamaw and Gigi, 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 26, 2025.
She was born on April 1, 1949 in Yazoo City to her parents, John Wesley and Mary Sue Henson.
She is survived by her cherished daughters, Tina Michelle Brooks (Jay) and Stephanie Ann Bryant (John); three grandchildren, Samuel Caleb Bryant (Adi Sisk), Magdalyn Grace Wright (Nick) and David Alexander Bryant; two great-grandchildren, Luther Ace Wright and Darrell Victor Sisk-Bryant; sister, Annie Loyce McGathy; and many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Sam Golden Manning Jr.; a grandson, Victor Manning Bryant; and two sisters, Mary Joyce Truelove and Helen Faye Leach.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stricklin King Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Warrington officiating.
Serving as pallbearers are John Bryant, Jorge Ascencio; Steve Wilson, Mitchell Dawson and Stef Irwin.
