Mr. and Mrs. Clark Jackson united in Marriage

Mary Darby Matthews and Bruce Clark Jackson were united in marriage on September 30, 2017, at 6 o'clock in the evening at The Chapel Plein Air, in Taylor, Mississippi.  Reverend Chris Robinson of St. Peter's Episcopal Church officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Michelle Matthews of Oxford, and Hayne Matthews of Tunica.  She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Bryant, Mr, and Mrs. Ronald Belk, Sr., and the late Mrs. Mary Lunsford Hayne Darby Matthews.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce W. Jackson, III, of Yazoo City.  He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Jackson, Jr.

Attending the bride during the ceremony was the Maid of Honor, Grace Michelle Matthews, her sister. Other bridesmaids were Emilee Jackson Burdine, sister of the groom, Grace Ann Agostinelle Mayne, Myles Fava Greenlee, and Allyn Gaston Bailey.  Serving as the flower girl was Ella James Bailey.

The best man of the wedding was the groom's father, Bruce William Jackson, III.  Other groomsmen were Turner Bridgforth, Jay Busby, Taylor Bailey, Patrick Ferguson, Walt Grant, and Stephen Burdine.  William Lamar Burdine, nephew of the groom, served as the ring bearer.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at The Mill at Plein Air in Taylor, Mississippi. 

A rehearsal dinner was held the night before the wedding on Friday, September 29, 2017, at the Mill Plein Air, hosted by the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce W. Jackson III.

Following a honeymoon at the Sandals LaSource in Saint Georges, Grenada, the couple now resides in Flowood.

Mary Darby is currently in school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center to earn a PhD. in Microbiology and Immunology.  Clark is employed as a GIT Associate for Michael Baker International, after graduating from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Engineering Technology and Business.
