Pastor Luke and Mrs. Natalie Edwards, of Yazoo City, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kameron Rose Edwards, to Angel Garcia, son of Lupe and Maria Garcia.
Miss Edwards is the granddaughter of Linda Kay Jones, Gerald and Linda Allen and the late Franklin Lavon Edwards, all of Yazoo City.
She was the Valedictorian of Yazoo County High School, where she graduated in 2016. She was also a Hall of Fame member at Holmes Community College. She is a 2020 graduate of the School of Agriculture and Life Sciences of Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Dairy Science. She is also a member of the Shackouls Honors College.
She is co-owner and operator of the couple’s home business, Garcia’s Goods and More.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2016 graduate of Kosciusko High School. He is also a 2020 graduate of Mississippi State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He is a design engineer for Taylor Machine Works in Louisville, Miss.
The couple will be married on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 6 p.m. at the Bridlewood Wedding Venue in Madison. The Rev. Luke Edwards, father of the bride, of Ebenezer Baptist Church will officiate the ceremony. A reception will follow the ceremony at the wedding venue.
