Mr. and Mrs. Scot Brasuell (Bonnie) of Ruston, La. are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Jordyn Elizabeth Brasuell, to Jordan Prescott Carroll, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Carroll Jr. (Karana) of Madison.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Edgar of Naples, Fla. and Mrs. Barbara Brasuell and the late Mr. Al Brasuell of Ruston, La.
Miss Brasuell graduated from Ruston High School and attended Louisiana Delta Community College. She is a certified Lead Montessori Teacher and is employed by Christ United Methodist Day School in Jackson.
The groom is the grandson of Mr. James and Dr. Elouise Upchurch of Yazoo City, Mrs. Kiyoko Carroll of Jackson, and Mrs. Ruth Carroll and the late John Carroll Sr. of Flowood.
Mr. Carroll graduated from Madison Central High School and from Belhaven University with a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude in Business Administration. Mr. Carroll currently works for the MS Child Protective Services Agency in Jackson.
The couple will celebrate their marriage at the Fairview Inn in Jackson on Sept. 4, 2021 with Rev, Brian Allison, uncle of the groom, officiating. The couple will honeymoon in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and will reside in Madison.
