Shane Hudson of Iowa, La. and Melissa McCoy of Flora announce the engagement of their daughter, Bailey Faith Hudson, to Jason Baylee Jones, son of Chad and Stacy Jones of Benton.
Miss Hudson is the granddaughter of Calvin and Mary Lou McCoy of Bolton, Bill and Robbie Montgomery of Bentonia, Bernice and Herman Hudson of Eunice, La. and the great granddaughter of Lamar Rodgers of Bentonia.
She attended Tri County Academy, Holmes Community College and Delta State University working towards a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
She is currently a kindergarten teacher’s assistance at Bentonia Gibbs Elementary School.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Lynn Eldridge and the late Billy Eldridge of Yazoo City, Marsha and Lonnie Jones of Benton and is the great grandson of Virginia Hearn of Pelahatchie.
He attended Benton Academy, Holmes Community College, the Mississippi Law Enforcement Academy and the Mississippi Conservations Officer Training Academy.
He is currently employed as a conservation officer with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife.
The couple will be married on June 12, 2021 at Parkview Church of God. A reception will be held at the Benton Country Club.
