On Saturday, Oct. 1, the Office of the District Attorney Twenty-First Judicial District in Conjunction with, Omega Beta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Heavenly Help, Incorporated, presents “Love Shouldn’t Hurt,” a Domestic Violence Awareness Parade and Rally.
This event will be held in Yazoo City at 9 a.m. at the Yazoo City Courthouse located at 211 East Broadway Street, Yazoo City, MS 39194.
For this event Congressman Bennie G. Thompson will be the Grand Marshal of the parade. There will be a host of area school bands, groups, surrounding area businesses, elected officials, nonprofit organizations and many more joining in our Stand Against Domestic Violence. Registration/Line Up will begin at 9 a.m., the parade will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the Rally starts at 10 a.m. To learn more about Domestic Violence, visit: http.//mcadv.org.
