Manchester Academy defeated Discovery Christian 31-2 in the North State Tournament, but the Lady Mavericks were eliminated after losses to Canton Academy and Deer Creek.

Molly McBride drove in two runs to help lead MA at the plate, but the Lady Mavericks couldn’t keep up with Canton in game one.
Morgan Foster and Angel Rae Carpenter each had two hits and an RBI. Embrie Carpenter had two hits for MA, and Analee Whitworth had a hit and an RBI.

Analee Whitworth went 4-for-4 and drove in seven runs to help lead a dominating performance by the Lady Mavericks in game two.
Alley Grace Ables drove in six runs on three hits.
Ables drove in two runs with a single and had an inside-the-park home run in the first inning and drove in two more with a double in the second.
The Lady Mavericks scored 20 runs in the first inning to get off to an overwhelming start. MA tacked on nine more runs in the second inning.
Angel Rae Carpenter had four hits and five RBI.
Morgan Foster had four hits and three RBI, and Aubree Walton had three hits and three RBI. Molly McBride had three hits and two RBI. Molly Foster had a hit and two RBI.
Claire Stevens had two hits and an RBI, and Avery Austin had a hit and an RBI.
Ables earned the win on the mound with Embrie Carpenter adding an inning of scoreless relief.
Deer Creek 12, Manchester Academy 5
Angel Rae Carpenter had an outstanding performance at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two RBI, but in the end, Deer Creek pulled off the upset.
Embrie Carpenter drove in a run with a double in the second inning to give Manchester an early lead. Annalee Whitworth and Angel Rae Carpenter added RBI singles to build on the lead in the bottom of the third.
Deer Creek took the lead in the fifth inning and added five more runs in the sixth.
Aubree Walton and Analee Whitworth each had two hits and an RBI for MA.
Alley Grace Ables had three hits, and Morgan Foster had two. Claire Stevens also had a hit. .
