Holmes County man convicted of armed robbery

Jovontae Jefferson of Holmes County was found guilty last week of the 2020 armed robbery of The Village Restaurant in Lexington.
District Attorney Akillie Malone-Oliver said the Holmes County jury reached a unanimous decision in the guilty verdict.
