GRAMMY Museum® Mississippi has been awarded a $21,600 grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission. This grant is a portion of the more than $1.7 million in grants MAC awarded in 2025 and will be used to support education programming and events at the GRAMMY Museum that bring the power of music to the community, state and region.
“We are incredibly thankful to the Mississippi Arts Commission for once again investing in our mission to educate and inspire through music,” said Emily Havens, Executive Director of GRAMMY Museum Mississippi. “Their continued support allows us to expand our reach and deliver dynamic programs that spark creativity, encourage exploration, and celebrate the rich musical heritage of Mississippi.”
“We are deeply grateful to our state and national leaders who have made the arts a priority this year,” said David Lewis, executive director for the MAC. “With funding from the Mississippi Legislature and with the continued support of the National Endowment for the Arts, MAC is providing 349 grants to individuals and organizations throughout Mississippi. These grants will foster creativity and make a meaningful impact on local communities and economies.”
