Ginger Ann (White) Beckett, aged 46 of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at The Ohio State University-Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
Born March 22, 1978 in Yazoo City, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Ray Gilbert and Tempie Deborah (Hester) White. A radiant soul who embraced life, Ginger was known for her infectious laugh, sweet Southern accent, and a generosity that touched everyone she met. Her authentic spirit and warm heart made her a cherished friend and a beacon of light to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
Ginger is survived by two daughters, Marley Clare and Stella Marie Beckett; her sister, Sheila Rena (White) Rathburn of Lancaster, Ohio; her niece, Callie Rathburn of Lancaster, Ohio; her nephew, Eli Rathburn; and many dear friends and beloved pets.
In addition to her parents, Ginger was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis Louise Hester, James Herald Hester, Louis Christine White, and Edwin Hugh White, all of Yazoo City, Mississippi. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:30-7:30 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the Tree Church, 721 N Memorial Dr., Lancaster, Ohio 43130. At 6 PM, a brief memorial message will be shared, followed by an opportunity to share stories and memories of Ginger.
