Yazoo County defeated Vicksburg 14-1 Monday for an eight straight win to wrap up the regular season.
The Panthers captured the district title last week after finishing undefeated in district play and will host Noxubee County the first round of the playoffs Friday in a double header beginning at 4 p.m.
Josh Snow gave up no hits and one unearned run while striking out 10 batters to earn the win over Vicksburg.
Will Andrews started things off offensively with a two-run triple.
Yazoo County piled on 10 runs in the second inning with Clark Riley driving in three runs with a single, Broc Willingham and Snow hitting RBI singles, and Chris Rials and Gabe Shaffer both adding singles that drove in two runs each.
Riley finished with a game-high three RBI.
Trey Kennedy went 2-for-3 for the most hits on the day.
With the win the Panthers are entering the playoffs with momentum. Noxubee County lost a pair of games to Winona last week to end the regular season.

Will Andrews allowed no hits and no runs while striking out five batters to earn the win in an 11-0 shutout of JZ George.
Josh Snow had a game-high three RBI, and Gabe Shaffer went 2-for-2 at the plate for the most hits. Shaffer also had an RBI.
Reggie Rhodes had a hit and two RBI.
Drew Wadford, Chris Rials and Jamarion Edwards each had a hit.

Josh Snow drove in six runs to lead Yazoo County to a decisive win over O’Bannon.
Snow drove in two runs with a single in the first inning, had a two-run single in the fifth inning and tacked on two more runs with a single in the sixth inning.
He also had an outstanding day on the mound, striking out 14 batters with no hit and no runs while pitching all six innings.
Chris Rials and Broc Willingham and Clark Riley each had a hit and two RBI.
Trey Kennedy, Gabe Shaffer and Jamarion Edwards each had a hit and an RBI.
Will Andrews also had a hit.
