While handling a warrant, deputies made a drug arrest last week in Yazoo County.
Brandy Davis, 46, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and simple possession of marijuana.
Deputy Austin Davis, with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department, said Davis was arrested at a home on Old Highway 3 on Nov. 22.
“She had a warrant for possession of marijuana, and I made contact with her at a residence,” Davis said. “After placing her under arrest for the warrant, it was discovered that she had a felony amount of methamphetamine in her possession, as well as paraphernalia.”
As of press time, Davis remained in the Yazoo County Regional Correctional Facility.
