On October 24, 2022, the Yazoo Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution members delivered items, including school supplies, socks, underwear and toiletries, to Bentonia Gibbs Elementary as their Day of Service Project. This day commemorates the October 11, 1890 founding of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
