A Yazoo City man remains on the run from the local authorities after allegedly making terroristic threats to a local medical clinic. Interim Police Chief Capt. Patrick Jaco is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect.
Cody Nicholson, 33, is wanted for two felony counts of making terroristic threats, two felony counts of disclosure of intimate material, three felony counts of malicious mischief, four misdemeanor counts of telephone with profane and indecent language, two misdemeanor counts of simple assault by physical menace to create fear, two misdemeanor counts of contempt of court, reporting a false crime, telephone harassment and failure to yield to blue lights and sirens.
“This suspect has a total of 18 warrants by the Yazoo City Police Department with seven being felonies and 11 for misdemeanors,” Jaco said.
Jaco said Nicholson allegedly called in bomb threats on July 24, July 26, Aug. 3 and Aug. 17.
“On each date, Cody Nicholson called in terroristic threats of a bomb in the building of one of the medical clinics in Yazoo City,” Jaco said. “Each time the facility’s patients/staff had to be evacuated and the building had to be cleared and shutdown halting medical treatment for the patients.”
