The national election is now one month away from the actual regular voting, or we should say the official Election Day. Voting actually began one month ago in some states. You would think the election would simply just be about campaigning and the voting. But NO! Some partisans have been very active—with dirty tricks! Let’s just survey what we have already seen in this election cycle:
Opponent: Trump suffers interference orchestrated by his opposition.
Begin false, trumped up charges against Republican opponent former President Donald Trump a year prior to election.
Weaponize court system against opponent. Get people to believe he’s guilty of some arcane crime in some jurisdictions, those particularly where Democrat nominated judges sit. The federal prosecutor was ruled illegitimate! (He ought to be charged for his expenditures!) However, several cases have already evaporated. The rest likely will.
Interfere with opponent’s campaign. He’s too effective with the public as jealously seen in the attendance in large sports venue rallies.
Use disinformation against opponent. Say he’s a threat to democracy and has got a really dangerous agenda. Check past performance: 6.5% economic growth rate; 1.4 % inflation; $2.39 gas price; 2.65 % mortgage rate (January 2020: Department of Labor, BLS, AAA, Fannie Mae; Fox News). No wars and international threats abroad. What’s not to like there?
Incarcerate the opponent. Get him out of circulation. Failing that, mug shots and false indictments can only hurt. Amazingly, such tricks only made his poll numbers go up.
Assassinate the opponent. Easiest, best, and final solution. Two attempts so far, maybe more in the planning stage. (Hey, why no big media hand wringing presentations about the evils of assault weapons and high powered rifles lasting a week following this second assassination attempt on Trump as per usual with MSM?). Here’s President Biden’s Secretary of Commerce only one week after: “Let’s extinguish (Trump) for good… Let’s just get it done.” I know she means by the ballot, but there are crazies that will be motivated by statements like that!
Threaten opponent’s family. Threaten to investigate his family if your candidate wins and party takes control of Congress. NY Democrat Congressman James Raskin is motivated and is on record with plans and suggestions (see Axios last week).
Is this likely to be divisive?
Your Stealth Candidate: VP Kamala Harris assisted by a complicit media.
Hide your candidate from the right wing media. VP Kamala Harris can’t seem to answer direct questions about her proposed policies even from friendly media efforts to give her a boost. Could those policies be any different from what we have already suffered under her current administration? (What could she do on the world stage? Word salads again?)
Rule that your campaign workers will be fired if they talk to the press. (Nice work environment.) Secret policies can’t stand the light of public discussion?
Make false claims for your candidate. Are the realities be to be feared?
Steal planks of opponent’s platform, even if you have already declared opposition to those points and advocated the reverse: e.g. fracking and no tax on tips in restaurants.
Initiate a coup by removing a weak party-rival candidate, e.g.incumbent Joe Biden because a hand-full of party barons and down ballot candidates feared the worst, in spite of his party vote as the convention selection! They just could not live with the loss by opposing party candidate! Probably threatened to invoke the 25th Amendment to force compliance. Have you ever seen the like? Who’s running the country? His wife Jill?
No media complaints and denunciations about most of above. Play the lapdog role rather than the guard dog for the country. Why? What’s to be gained? Are we better off now than with Trump? If you believe that, you’ve got a strange standard, plus TDS. Just know too that Biden is no more sanctified than Trump in personal morality. Complicit media all the way helps their favored party! It seems they are but Democrat operatives disguised as serious journalists.
In short, could anything more be done to undermine the democratic process? Yes—go one more—stuff the ballot boxes, which could happen in certain counties as before. We are already hearing rumors of irregularities! Have we become a “banana republic”? Will (Mrs.) Joe Biden arrest Trump if he wins the election? That remains to be seen. Then, if Trump wins, what will they do next?
Apparently, some Democrats these days will stop at NOTHING to win! Am I too broad on these details above? Really? In the 1970’s, Americans thought a two-bit break-in of a party headquarters was the lowest of the low. (Oh, but to the MSM that’s the blackest unforgivable sin of sins! And the Nixon cover up. I wonder what those people would think of the Russia collusion hoax!)
I have heard a few denunciations. President Biden denounced the two assassination attempts. Harris made a weak effort. Maybe a few more of these to come. No change in rhetoric. Are Mississippi Democrats proud of these survey points above? I haven’t heard any denunciations.
Isn’t this outrageous? I pray it doesn’t get any worse.
