Charlie Lamar Edmonds was born on September 16, 1955, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to the late Willie Mae Edmonds and Lamar Edmonds. He departed this life On March 3,2026 surrounded by the love of his family.
Charlie was a faithful member of Castle Chapel Church and proudly served his country in the National Guard. He was a devoted husband, sharing 50 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Margaret Edmonds. Their union was built on love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Mae and Lamar Edmonds; his sisters, Alma Jane and Cherie Ann Edmonds; his son, Charlie “Butch” Edmonds; and his daughter, Pamela Renee Edmonds.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Margaret Edmonds; his daughters, Amanda (Randell) Manseill and Patty (Aubrey) Pugh; and his cherished grandchildren: Kallee Mae; Scooter (Kaitlin); Seth (Chevi); Jessie; Taylor (Jino); Isiah; Asher (Baleigh); and Joshua. He was also blessed with nine great-grandchildren: Reaghan, Kami, Taj, Rahm, Rupa, Veda, Singleton, Remi, and AJ. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Charlie loved working with his hands and fixing things. If something was broken, he was the one everyone called. He found joy in helping others and took pride in being someone his family and friends could depend on. Above all, he was a loving husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a loyal friend.
He will be deeply missed, but his love, laughter, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
