A burglary suspect was arrested by local officers during Tuesday’s early morning hours in connection to two separate burglaries at one location.
Interim Police Chief Capt. Patrick Jaco said two separate burglaries were reported at P-Reaux’s on Broadway on Aug. 12 and again on Aug. 16.
Darryl Brown has been charged with two counts of commercial burglary. He was arrested by the Yazoo City Police Department at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.
“The suspect was arrested by officer Shane Taylor at Phillips 66 on Broadway,” Jaco said. “After receiving a tip of him being in the area of East Madison Street, the night-shift officers patrolled the area when deputy Kenny Lewis spotted Brown at the local gas station, alerting officer Taylor.”
