Benton Academy swept Porter’s Chapel with decisive wins in the first district games of the season.
The Raiders cruised to a 12-0 victory at home before earning a 25-7 win on the road.

Dalton Robles allowed no hits or runs while striking out seven to earn the win for the Raiders.
Banks Nixon and Tyler Odum each had a pair of hits to lead BA at the plate. Nixon went 2-for-4 with a game-high three RBI.
Odum tagged up to score the first run of the game in the first inning.
BA extended the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Ethan Shanks grounded out, Odum tripled down the right field line, and Nixon singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
The Raiders added five runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. Peyton McGlawn doubled, scoring two runs, Shanks singled, scoring one run, and Nixon added a two-run triple.

Ethan Shanks provided another solid pitching performance for the Raiders as he racked up 10 strikeouts while allowing just two hits in three runs to earn the win.
Odum went 4-for-5 with three RBI and scored three runs to help lead the Raiders.
Tanner Vandevere went 3-for-4 with three RBI.
Baylor Creel had three hits and four RBI, and Cullen McCain and Clayton Saxton each had two hits and four RBI.
Dalton Robles and Riley Powell each had a hit and an RBI.
