After coming from behind to defeat Tallulah Academy 6-5 in the home opener, Benton Academy cruised to a 14-0 victory in game two on the road Monday.
The Lady Raiders are off to a strong start under first year head coach Emily Poe.

Brynn Blackstock was on fire at the plate, with a three-run home run in the second inning, a double in the fourth and a single in the third to help lead BA to a decisive win.
Madison Ledbetter allowed no hits and no runs over three innings of work while striking out five and walking four to earn the win. Maci Lowery added a scoreless inning of relief.
The Lady Raiders got on the board in the first with a two-run single by Lucy McDaniel. Kaitlynn Becker added an RBI. Blackstock’s homer and an RBI from Annalise Turner expanded the lead by four more runs in the second inning.
Lowery added an RBI double, Ledbetter had an RBI single, and Leta Greco grounded out to drive in a run to build on the lead in the third.
Lowery and McDaniel each had two hits for BA. McDaniel and Chloe May each had two RBI.

In the home opener the Lady Raiders were trailing 3-0 before they tied it up in the bottom of the third in a rally led with singles by Leta Greco and Lucy McDaniel.
Benton took the lead in the following inning with McDaniel driving in a run on a single to right field.
McDaniel and Leta Greco led the way at the plate with two RBI each. Along with Maci Lowery, they also led the team with two hits each.
Brynn Blackstock, Chloe May and Kaitlyn Becker each had a hit for the Lady Raiders.
Lowery pitched four innings of relief for Benton, striking out nine batters. Becker started the game on the mound, and Riley Reece also pitched some relief.
