Three suspects were charged with grand larceny following a house burglary investigation in Yazoo County.
Lynwood Kane was charged with grand larceny. Alonzo Allen, 46, was charged with grand larceny, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. And Amanda Book, 42, was charged with grand larceny, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of paraphernalia.
Chief Deputy Terry Gann, with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department, said the arrests stemmed from a house burglary investigation involving Kane.
“Kane enlisted the help of Allen and Book to help remove items from the home,” Gann said. “While investigating the incident, we discovered a stolen rifle in the vehicle of Allen and Book. Allen is also a convicted felon, which was added to his charges. And Book was also in possession of paraphernalia.”
As of press time, both Allen and Book remained behind bars.
