Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson invites the media to attend a press conference announcing the entertainment lineup and other details ahead of the upcoming 2026 Dixie National Rodeo, the largest rodeo east of the Mississippi River. Rodeo fans can enjoy nine performances of the 61st annual Dixie National Rodeo on February 13-15 and 18-21.
For the first time ever, tickets to the Dixie National Rodeo will go on sale to the public during the Mississippi State Fair, beginning Friday, October 3.
The press conference will take place inside the Atrium of the Mississippi Trade Mart on the State Fairgrounds on Tuesday, September 23, at 10:30 a.m. Commissioner Gipson will be joined by sponsor representatives Whitney Watts, Insurance Specialist with Southern AgCredit, and Bruce Deviney, Owner of Deviney Equipment.
