Yazoo County rising senior Jesse Henderson earned a position at Nationals in the Junior Olympics this upcoming week after his stellar performance at the Regional meet at Alabama A&M.
At the Regional meet, Henderson placed second in the 110 meter hurdles, losing to the victor by a mere .01 of a second, second in the high jump, fourth in the long jump, and fifth in the triple jump.
Henderson will try to avenge his loss on July 24-30 in Lawrence, Kansas, where he’ll be pitted against the best of the best at Nationals.
