Mavs roll past Oak Hill

Benton readies for playoffs

Benton Academy’s Garrett Vandevere is safe at second after hitting the dirt during the Raiders’ regular season finale against Deer Creek. Benton (7-11) lost 7-1 and opened the playoffs at home against Tunica Tuesday night.

Yazoo County Track Action

With a score of 224 points, the Yazoo County Panther track team wiped out the competition to bring home first place honors at the Class 3A North Super Regional track meet held at Winona. The host school Winona finished second with a score of 95.
