There it was! A big bold gaudy headline in the New York Times which read, “Nothing less than civil war: These white voters on the far right see doom without Trump.”
Notice that the New York Times uses the term “white voters” prominently. This is no accident. The Times is using the old Democrat play book that calls for the scorched earth policy of “divide and conquer.” Divide the nation into small groups, turn them against a large group of voters, and low and behold, you have a presidential victory for the Democrats.
There is just one minor thing wrong this election cycle. This strategy doesn’t seem to be working. President Trump has changed the equation. The economy has taken off due to his policies, and groups who were safely in the Democrat column have begun to shatter. African American voters who support a Republican candidate have moved from about 12 percent to 34 percent. This can only be bad news for the Democrat Party. Hispanic voters are increasingly favoring President Trump; and so are Asian Americans and other minorities.
What is going on? James Carvelle once proclaimed, “It’s the economy, stupid.” People of all races and creeds are being lifted out of poverty, now have a job, and many are feeling the freedom of not depending on the government. For years the government has promoted social programs that trapped Americans in poverty. This was by design, of course. The philosophy was simple. Keep groups of Americans dependent on the government and the Democrat Party, and they will always vote the way you want them to.
Trump has changed that. American citizens are figuring out that a job is better than a government handout. The statistics don’t lie. Dependence on food stamps has fallen drastically. Statistics show that more and more people are climbing out of poverty, and yes, they are beginning to experience the American dream. The old Democrat play book that read “keep them poor and dependent” is no longer working, and if I were a Democrat leader, I would be worried.
The Democrat Party is now made up of a group of far-left socialists. Bernie Sanders is a communist who would wreck the American economy in a week should he become president. Elizabeth Warren, in the unlikely event that she is elected president, would raise your taxes so high that it would not make sense to work. Within a month, the United States economy would be in an unrecoverable economic depression. We simply do not have the money to “give away” all the things she is proposing to give away. The American people, in their good judgment, will not elect these two leftists.
What about Old Joe? Let’s be honest with each other. Is Joe all there? Are we to believe our lying eyes or do we as clear thinking voters want to elect someone who often doesn’t remember what state he is in? Compounding his mental state is the fact that he is a crook. His use of his public office to take in huge sums of money for his family is slowly bubbling to the top, and once all of his corruption hits, the New York Times and the Washington Post will be totally unable to defend him.
In my lifetime, I have never seen such a weak field of Democrat candidates. The more they are seen, the less interest the American voters have in them. That leaves the Democrats with one option. If the President cannot be defeated at the polls, then he must be impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate.
I realize that there are some “never Trumpers” who are in the Senate. Some of these are Republicans. But let me issue this admonition to my
Republican friends. A vote to remove a duly elected president from office will seal your political fate. Should the Republicans vote in mass to remove President Trump, that will be the end of the Republican Party. The New York Times talks about Civil War. I do not think that things will get that drastic should President Trump be removed, but I do believe that there will be civil unrest the likes of which we have not seen, and our country will be changed forever.
