Yazoo County voters will head to the polls Tuesday for the 2016 primary election.
Democrat and Republican voters will pick their candidate for president. There are also unopposed candidates for each party for the 2nd Congressional District, and incumbent Willie Dodd is unopposed for levee commissioner as a Democrat.
On both sides there will be some presidential candidates on the ballot who are not actually still in the race.

Clinton and Sanders are the front runners in this primary.
O’Malley suspended his campaign in February after he failed to gain any momentum.
De Ka Fuente is a San Diego businessman Wilson is a Chicago businessman.

Cruz, Rubio, Kasich and Trump are actually the only candidates remaining in the race. The rest of the candidates have dropped out, but there names will remain on the ballot.
U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson is unopposed as a Democrat for the 2nd Congressional District. John Bouie II is the unopposed Republican candidate.
The polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
