A Yazoo City man has been arrested for a third time on charges related to shooting a gun in the Shady Lane Apartments area.
Devine Dechan Cannon was charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling.
Sheriff Jake Sheriff said Cannon fired a shot that went through the window of an apartment and struck an interior wall. No one was injured.
Cannon had a warrant for his arrest from Yazoo County Circuit Court at the time of his arrest.
Sheriff said that Cannon has two other similar charges from incidents over the past two years, but he has not been convicted of those charges.
Cannon remained in the Yazoo County Jail at press time.
In other news, two men have been charged with grand larceny and sale of stolen property after deputies quickly recovered a motorcycle stolen from a residence on Old Highway 3.
Cassius Cole, 39, and Frank Moore, 24, were both arrested by deputies about an hour after the motorcycle was reported stolen. Sheriff said the motorcycle was recovered from a property in the Jonestown area.
Both men remained in jail at press time.
