A Yazoo City man with a violent history was charged with attacking a minor with a 2 x 4 board.
Marquis McGee, 26, was charged with aggravated assault last Thursday.
Investigators have not determined why the attack even occurred.
“He is charged with striking a minor in the head with a 2 x 4 board in what appears to be an unprovoked attack,” said Capt. William Nevels, with the Yazoo City Police Department.
The incident occurred at a house on Canal Street, and the victim has recovered from the attack.
