Close to $20,000 in reward money is being offered for information surrounding the recent Delta Ace Hardware burglaries that led to the theft of multiple firearms from the local business.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) New Orleans Field Division is offering a $10,000 reward, along with a $5,000 reward from the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward. And the victim is also offering $1,000 for information.
The reward totals $17,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for two burglaries of Delta Ace, a federal firearms licensee, that occurred within a week of each other.
On Jan. 6, and Jan. 11, 2019, multiple suspects forced entry into and burglarized Delta Ace, located at 647 Haley Barbour Pkwy., Yazoo City, MS 39194. Multiple firearms were stolen during each burglary.
The ATF Jackson Field Office and the Yazoo City Police Department are jointly investigating these crimes.
