Investigators continue to pursue the suspects they believe were behind a car wash shooting last week.
Cpt. William Nevels, with the Yazoo City Police Department, said no arrests or charges have been filed in connection with a shooting at the car wash at the Grady Mini-Mart on Grady Avenue last Thursday. The 10 p.m. shooting left one juvenile in the hospital.
“The case remains under investigation, but we have suspects we are pursuing,” Nevels said.
Nevels said several individuals were standing at the car wash when a person began firing shots the group.
“A juvenile victim was struck twice,” Nevels said. “He received medical treatment and was later released.”
