A good Samaritan had no idea he was giving a burglary suspect a ride home after his vehicle broke down in Yazoo City.
But when he brought the man back to the abandoned vehicle, deputies were waiting on him in connection to a number of burglaries in the Highland Drive area.

The body found in the Big Black River on March 29 has been identified as Phillip Dunn.
Investigators have been searching for body for over a month in a murder investigation. Sheriff Jake Sheriff said Dunn appears to have been shot multiple times.
Tommy White Jr. is charged with Dunn’s murder.
