Agnes Christine Harris, 84, of Ridgeland passed away Sunday, March 19, 207 at her home.
Funeral services are Wednesday, March 22 at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 12:30-2 p.m. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Christine was born Oct. 1, 1932 in Germania to John Raven-Scroft Green and Freddie Stinson Green. Her younger days were spent in the hills of Satartia. One June 23, 1953, she married William Joseph Harris of Yazoo City. Christine was a mother of four and an honorable military wife of 25 years.
She was preceded in death by Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Green of Satartia; her husband, William Joseph Harris of Satartia; her sister, Carrie Mae Ledbetter of Pascagoula; and her son, John Covert Harris of Satartia.
Survivors include her daughters, Tina Marie Harris Green (Tommy) of Huntsville, Texas, Jo Ann Harris Green (Glen) of Ridgeland; son, William Joseph Harris Jr. (Lori) of Clinton; grandchildren, Clint Green (Paula), Laci Tesch (Justin), Zach Green and Macye Jones; and five great-grandchildren; Jalen Tesch, Cole Tesch, Barrett Green, Maddie Green and Tori Green.
Serving as pallbearers are Clint Green, Zachary Green, Todd Martin, Greg Ragland, Dusty Morrow, Rick Ledbetter, Mike Harris, Brent Harris, Bill Harris and Justin Tesch.
Honorary pallbearers are Barrett Green and Cole Tesch.
