Angie Coghlan will be leading two adult art education classes this fall. Those classes include:
• Sept. 25- Chop Like a Pro, It's an ART; 6-8 p.m. at the Triangle; $40 nonmember; $35 member

Mayor says Brent was the aggressor in altercation

Mayor Diane Delaware admits that a conversation occurred between her and Ward 4 Alderman Aubry Brent Jr. after a heated executive session earlier this week.

But Delaware said it was Brent who was the aggressor during the altercation in the parking lot of the police department Monday afternoon.

Juveniles wounded in city shooting

Investigators continue to piece together the evidence behind Yazoo City’s latest reported shooting, which left four juveniles wounded.
Police Chief Terry Gann said the incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. last Saturday at a residence on Leach Street. Four juveniles were struck by gunfire with non-life-threatening wounds.

Deputies continue to arrest burglars

Four suspects were put behind bars after they were caught burglarizing a storage shed with drugs found inside their nearby getaway car.
Terry Shepherd, Brittany Shepherd, Randall Ball and Matthew Salter were all charged with possession of methamphetamine and burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.
