I recently read Walter Patterson’s opinion about “The Land of Oz,” and to an extent, I agree with him, but not entirely.
Yes, our country is divided, more so with the election of Mr. Trump. The media is partisan to an extent, and we see it in every form on most stations, just as your advice to the good people of Yazoo City is also partisan. We can believe some things we read, Mr. Patterson, if we dig hard enough. There is truth. Not all press releases are fake or dishonest, otherwise there would be a lot more defamation cases in court systems.
I would love to see Mr. Patterson approach his articles with a little more of that truth and not so much conjecture. The Republicans, the Democrats, the Tea Parties, the Moderates, Progressives and all facets of our community deserve to hear all sides of the story.
Just because these different sides don’t agree with you does not mean that they are NOT true.
