Back-to-back home runs by Maci Lowery and Brynn Blackstock in the first inning set the tone for a 15-2 Benton Academy win at Manchester.
The Lady Raiders racked up nine runs in the first inning to take a strong lead early.
Lowery’s home run drove in two runs before Blackstock added another.
Annalise Turner had an RBI double, and Leta Greco drove in two runs on a single before Lucy McDaniel hit a two-run single.
The Lady Raiders added five more runs in the third inning, highlighted by a two-run single by Braelynn Sumrall and an RBI single by Turner.
Claire Stevens and Analee Whitworth each drove in a run to lead Manchester at the plate.
Angel Rae Carpenter had two hits, and Aubree Walton had a hit for the Lady Mavericks.
Maci Lowery earned the win, allowing four hits and two runs, while striking out seven. Lowery was also a top hitter as she went 2-for-2 with two RBI.
Blackstock went 3-for-3 with two RBI to lead the Lady Raiders.
Leta Greco had two hits and two RBI. Kaitlynn Becker had two hits and an RBI, McDaniel had a hit and two RBI.

Morgan Foster went 3-for-4 to lead the Lady Mavericks to a 12-6 win on the road at Kirk.
Foster had singles in the second, third and fifth innings and two RBI to lead the way.
Manchester’s bats were hot throughout the day with Analee Whitworth, Angel Rae Carpenter and Emma Roberts also getting three hits apiece.
Molly McBride also had a hit and an RBI, Aubree Walton had a hit and an RBI, and Alley Grace Ables and Molly Foster each had a hit.

Brynn Blackstock’s hitting streak continued as she hammered a grand slam in a decisive win Monday.
Maci Lowery earned the win on the mound, giving up no hits and no runs over two innings. Madison Ledbetter pitched relief.
Perry Kate Kraft went 2-for-2 with an RBI to lead the Lady Raiders in hits.
Chloe May had a hit and two RBI.
Leta Greco and Lura Greco each had a hit and an RBI, and Madison Ledbetter added an RBI.
