If you read or watch the mainstream media, you might get the idea that Donald Trump was the moral equivalent of Al Capone, Baby Face Nelson, and Bonnie and Clyde rolled into one disorganized package. According to the media, Crooked Hillary is... well, what do they think? The media never covers Hillary with all of her personality flaws and legal travails.
This political season is strange. Every big gun that the media has is trained on "The Donald." They make up lies and publish them. They make up lies about his family. They even said that Melania was an illegal alien.
Charles Krauthammer and Mitch McConnell have both made advertisement for the "Crooked One." Both claim that Trump is "unfit" to have his hands on the nuclear football. Paul Ryan has failed to come out and campaign for the Republican nominee even though Trump supported him in his re-election bid. All of these turncoats are liberal elitist establishment politicians. I have a feeling that once this election is over, those who did not enthusiastically support Trump may find themselves in hot water.
What about Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker? Where are they? My guess is that they have pledged their support to the establishment. But who knows. Both of these men believe in the old adage "silence is golden."
The media has gone far beyond being biased. They are now a functioning part of the Democrat Party. In fact, a writer for the New York Times stated that the media had to be biased because Trump was such a bad candidate.
The sad fact is simply that the media will not change. They have been trained in leftist journalism schools, and socialism, to them, is a way of making everyone equal with an equal opportunity to share the economic pie. This thinking is nonsense, but we are just going to have to accept if for what it is.
Of course, the Democrat Party and the media want to demoralize all of us. They are dead set on damaging Trump so badly that come November, "Crooked Hillary" will walk into the White House trailed by her serial sex offender husband, Bill.
But something isn’t quite right. If Trump is such a bad candidate, why go into full attack mode? If Hillary is leading by such a wide margin, why turn every gun you have on Trump?
One reason could be that all is not right for the "Crooked One." Early last week, three polls were published that showed Trump leading Clinton–not by much, but still leading. Trump speaks to thousands of enthusiastic supporters each day with thousands more wanting to get into the venue while Clinton speaks to three hundred.
Now some of the polls show Clinton with an 8 or 9 point led, but my question is this: If the media hate Trump so badly as to purposely distort everything he says, perhaps pollsters are doing the same? Polls can and are manipulated, and they are sometimes slanted in favor of a particular candidate.
Clinton is a very weak candidate with an unbelievable amount of baggage. She has no significant accomplishment in her 35 years of public service, and she is about as inspiring as a dead fish. Her record of lawlessness is there for all to see, and last week, the news media leaked that she was being investigated for "pay to play" allegations relating to the Clinton Foundation.
In addition to all of this, her health is beginning to deteriorate right before our eyes. She is having trouble with her balance and has almost fallen numerous times. Even our brain-dead vice-president had to catch her last week and keep her from falling off the podium.
If any of you are disheartened and depressed, cheer up. The real election begins after Labor Day, and I believe that you will see "The Donald" taking command. This scares the "Crooked One" more than an FBI investigation.
If the millions of dollars that Clinton has and the left-wing media fail to drive Trump from the field, he might just have a new title come November – Mr. President.
