There is just no other way of saying it. This country is in a mess. We saw "Crooked Hillary" strut and prance before a wild-eyed audience of devoted fans, some crying, all absorbing the magnificent lies she was spouting like sponges. If you paid close attention, you already know that she saved her socialist agenda until the very last. During her time in the Democratic sun, she never mentioned the fact that the USA is $20 trillion in debt and the debt is rising by billions of dollars each day. Instead, she wants to give things away like free tuition to college and the forgiveness of student loans. Shovel-ready jobs are also on her spend list.
Her Hollywood producers wanted to contrast the "Crooked One" with Donald Trump by saying his convention was "dark and pessimistic." They, instead, emphasized love and togetherness, the children, and Bill"s undying love for the "Crooked One." When this propaganda film was run, I became physically ill. Everyone knows the Bill Clinton saga, how he has cheated on Hillary more times than we can count, and how he was finally impeached for lying under oath.
If you have ever played sports, you have probably been scolded by your coach. Sometimes it was a little scolding, and sometimes, he or she got in your face and explained exactly what you were doing wrong. These times you remember, and more likely than not, you corrected the mistakes you were making.
Now the coach didn’t like you any less, but he or she was preparing you for game time. Making those mistakes during a game could cause your team to lose.
Well, dark and pessimistic as it may seem, Donald Trump is getting in our faces and telling us what is happening to our great country. All of us want to hear good things spoken about ourselves, and we especially want the coach to praise us because he or she is an authority figure. But sometimes, that just doesn’t happen. But to improve and become the winners that we want to be, we have to be told the truth. It is not pleasant, but it serves as a basis for making needed changes.
We are in the slowest economic recovery since 1949. Trump knows this. More than 94,000,000 Americans are out of work. Illegal immigrants are pouring over the border taking what few entry level jobs are available, and included in that group are no doubt terrorists who have no love for this country.
Trump recognizes that the terror we have witnessed in Europe will be here shortly. The facts are that we are not safe. A terrorist might appear anywhere in our country and kill innocent people for no other reason than he or she thinks his or her religion is superior to that of the "infidel’s."
The creation of ISIS has to be laid squarely at the feet of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. They were at the national controls when this evil group formed. But to hear these two people talk, you might get the idea that we are living in a boom period and terrorism is a problem for another country to solve.
Rational people worry about their finances. Will there be enough money in the bank account to pay the bills? How can I afford little Suzie’s college tuition? Can we afford to take a vacation this year? We study these questions and others, and somehow come to a resolution. Either we can afford these things or we can’t. The rational person then decides what he or she can afford and gives up the rest.
Not so with Hillary and her "progressives." They don’t see the elephant in the room, the $20 trillion in national debt. Instead, she proposes to spend even more which means she must tax more.
Trump is headed in the opposite direction. Tax less, regulate less, build up our military so that it can defend us from outside enemies, and build the wall. Yes, it sounds so nice to hear Clinton say, "We will build a bridge." But it is total nonsense, and the American people know it.
Thankfully, Coach Trump is on the job telling us in language that we can understand that we must change if we plan to continue as winners on the national and international scene. Building Hillary’s bridge to nowhere will simply keep us in the same place we are now.
