Leann Hardage, 64, retired teacher at Yazoo City Schools, died May 23 at her new home in Victoria, Texas. Visitation is Tuesday, May 29 from 9-11 a.m. at Rosewood Funeral Home in Victoria, Texas. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery in Victoria. Ms. Hardage had been in delicate health for several years, but had been acutely ill for about two weeks. Ms. Hardage taught social studies at Yazoo City High School, and also taught at the alternative school. She had also served as a track and girls volleyball coach. She had resided until recently in Yazoo City. Ms. Hardage had taught locally for approximately 12 years. A native of Sour Lake, Texas, she is survived by two sons, Adair and Robert; one daughter, Kimberly; and several grandchildren.
